As an illustrator and artist, I draw endless inspiration from the natural world around me in rural Kent, UK. My work is deeply influenced by the stunning landscapes and the animals I share my life with - including two mischievous Maine Coon cats and two lively dogs, an Irish Terrier and a Berger Picard, both rare breeds with plenty of character.
Beyond my home studio, I work at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Smarden, Kent, where I lead photography workshops and have the amazing privilege of working with some of the world’s most extraordinary and endangered big cats. These unique experiences, combined with my passion for wildlife, animals, and nature, infuse my illustrations with a deep connection to the environment. My goal is to bring the beauty of the natural world to life through my art.
If you would like to order any of my cards or prints please email me or you can find a limited amount of work for sale on my Sarah Medway wildlife and dog art prints & cards on Etsy.
My Berger Picard illustrations are inspired by Lucca the Picard that I share my life with, filling my days with character, chaos and charm. These winter themed pieces capture the companionship, humour and the gentle magic of our woodland walks here in rural Kent as Lucca plays and explores with her pals and family.
Alongside my dog art, I also create illustrations of woodland animals and cats, drawing inspiration from the wildlife and quiet moments around me. Designs like my Autumn Fox and Crazy Cat postcards are some of my most loved pieces, perfect as small gifts or messages to friends.
